The Bert Shoemaker Award
The Kiwanis Club of Golden Gate, San Francisco in Division 17, working through the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation, established in 1990, an award in memory of its Charter Member, Herbert O. Shoemaker, Sr.
This award is presented annually to an individual who best exemplifies the spirit of Kiwanis as practiced by this late member. The trophy is kept on display in the District Office and a plaque is awarded to the Kiwanian selected at the District Convention.
