When you enroll in our sustaining donor program, Champions for Children, your commitment creates opportunities and provides the pathway to a brighter future for those we serve.
Here’s how you build a better future for children when you become a Champion for Children . . .
- As part of our Pediatric Trauma program, the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation provides grants to assist Kiwanis and Service Leadership Programs clubs in financing new service projects which address pediatric trauma and injury prevention.
For $120 ($10/month), you provide 20 bicycle helmets to children in need.
- The Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation makes available grants to our Partner Hospitals to assist them with their unfunded needs directly related to pediatric trauma.
For $180 ($15/month), you ensure a family receives discharge education information to help care for their newborn child. This support can literally mean the difference between life and death.
- Through our Kiwanis Doctor program, we save and improve the lives of children by training doctors in the latest in pediatric emergency medicine.
For $300 ($25/month), you provide a training seminar in emergency pediatric medicine to approximately 25 first responders, helping to heal and even save the lives of countless children.
- Each year we empower hundreds of youth to become future leaders through training, leadership development, community service and scholarship support.
For $600 ($50/month), you nurture the next generation of future leaders by providing 17 scholarships to students attending a Key Leader Leadership Conference.
Champions receive our time-limited, commemorative lapel pin to acknowledge their support.
