Kiwanis Family of the Year Award
This Kiwanis Family of the Year Award is sponsored by the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation.
This program selects the family which best typifies the traditional virtues of family living. Both Kiwanis and non-Kiwanis families will be recognized. A minimum requirement is that there be at least two children living in the home. There is no maximum on the number of people in the family. Selections are based on family involvement and activity, unity, intra-family love and concern, considered as the basic assets ordinarily involved in a successful family.
Outside the home activities (such as civic and religious) are also considered. The award is no longer presented on the district level.
