Dear Kiwanis CNH Foundation,
My name is Johann Park and first and foremost I would like to thank you immensely for this generous award. I have worked very hard in high school to graduate with a 4.54 GPA (4.0 unweighted), 2260 SAT score, National AP Scholar recognition, and enrollment into College Honors at the University of California – Los Angeles this Fall. Despite these previous achievements, I am looking forward to reaching even greater heights in college and making an impact in the community and the world. I have served in Key Club for the past four years, and my time as Lieutenant Governor during my senior year has opened my eyes to a lifestyle of caring, compassion, and helping those in need.
I am entering as a freshman Neuroscience major and will be taking introductory Chemistry and Calculus courses, along with a General Education cluster on race and society and a Fiat Lux seminar on Neuroscience and bionics. I am looking to one day enroll in medical school and save lives. I would like to thank you so much for this scholarship as these funds will help me to finally afford a laptop for college. I am truly honored to be a recipient of this scholarship and I am one step closer to achieving my goals. During my time at UCLA I plan to continue my journey in the Kiwanis family and stay connected through Circle K and eventually join Kiwanis to give back and pay the generosity forward.
Once again, thank you for this award and I promise to represent our community to the best of my ability.
Yours in service,
