President's Message
October 28, 2006
Dear Cal-Nev-Ha Kiwanians,
I look forward to the next two years. As I look ahead, I see a busy, and very exciting, two years. I have asked the Foundation's Board of Directors to catch my fever. I am enthused, and I am passionate about making your Foundation bigger and better.
I have two major goals I am asking every Cal-Nev-Ha Kiwanian to support: 1) double the assets of the Foundation my slogan is "Drive to Five" ($5M That Is!); 2) break ground on and complete construction of the Foundation's office building in Rancho Cucamonga.
In order to gain the support of every Kiwanis member of this great District, I must "get the word out." I want to ensure every Kiwanis member understands the Foundation's mission and what the Foundation can do for your club. Therefore, I have asked the publicity committee, led by Rae Whitby-Brummer, to develop and implement an effective public relations campaign.
Governor George and First Lady Marge are both great supporters of our District Foundation. Governor George, Governor-elect Oscar, and I have discussed the way ahead. We are committed to working together to ensure our respective strategic plans are consistent and complimentary.
If you should have any questions about the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation or our programs, please feel free to contact the Foundation office staff or any Foundation Board Member. We're here to help you, help others.
In Kiwanis Service,
Richard G. (Dick) Olmstead, Jr.
