Donor Privacy Policy

Collection and Use of Personal Membership Data

The Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund maintains the highest level of respect for the privacy of its donors. As part of its effort to assist clubs and facilitate communication with Kiwanians, the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund collects personal information about Kiwanis club members to be used solely for the purpose of conducting the following core business activities:

  • Fundraising
  • Distribute receipts
  • Thank donors for their donation
  • IRS Purposes
  • Billing
  • Communicating key organizational messages and information to district leaders for dissemination at the club level
  • Facilitating convention and special event planning

Privacy of Member Information

In order to protect online privacy, the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund keeps e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, mail addresses and other information secure. The Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund protects the security of personal data by using password-protected areas and restricting access. Donor information is strictly confidential and will not be shared. Donors to the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund can feel confident that their personal information will not be sold, traded or shared with another organization or vendor, nor will we send mailings on behalf of other organizations.

The mission of the Cal-Nev-Ha Children's Fund is to build a better future for our children by providing grant funding, scholarships & leadership training and through our innovative Pediatric Trauma Program.
The Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation, doing business as the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund, has received a Silver Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations. The seal is given to nonprofits who have achieved a level of transparency through publicly disclosing their audited financial report.
