Meet Dalena

“This scholarship was able to help me reach my educational goals by contributing to my 2020 Fall Quarter Tuition at the University of California, Davis. Specifically, the Kenneth C. Forror, M.D. Scholarship allowed me to receive Equitable Access at UC Davis, which is a program for undergraduate students, like myself, to access a variety of textbooks and course materials online.

Having Equitable Access, with the help of this scholarship, for my first quarter at UC Davis has greatly helped me adapt to college life and contributed to my personal academic success because I could utilize all of my course resources with the touch of my fingertips. Viewing the bigger picture, receiving this scholarship was meaningful in the aspect that I was one step closer to pursuing my career goal of becoming a health professional, and hopefully continuing to help others in my community like I did when I was a part of Key Club in the CNH District.” – Dalena Ong
