As a long-standing leader in pediatric healthcare and trauma treatment, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland is committed to reducing the impact of childhood injuries throughout Northern California. Through its partnership with the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund, the hospital has been able to strengthen its trauma prevention outreach and training initiatives—helping protect children where it matters most: in their homes, schools, and communities.
Thanks to annual grant support from the Pediatric Trauma Program, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland has expanded its community education programs and distributed thousands of injury prevention resources to families in high-risk areas.
UCSF Benioff’s mission aligns closely with the goals of the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund: to prevent pediatric injury before it occurs, and to ensure children receive swift, expert care when tragedy strikes. Together, we’re building a better future for children.
