Our Board & Staff

Our Board of Directors is responsible for developing policies and establishing the general direction for the programs of the Foundation. Foundation staff is responsible for implementing the decisions of the Foundation Board under the supervision of the Executive Director.

Our Board’s primary responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the Foundation’s mission, which is to build a better future for our children
  • Developing resources, promoting programs and raising funds for the Foundation’s primary programs: Scholarships & Leadership Training; Grants; and our Pediatric Trauma Program
  • Developing and implementing a strategic plan for the Foundation
  • Establishing and maintaining the policies and procedures and the bylaws of the Foundation

The mission of the Cal-Nev-Ha Children's Fund is to build a better future for our children by providing grant funding, scholarships & leadership training and through our innovative Pediatric Trauma Program.
The Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation, doing business as the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund, has received a Silver Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations. The seal is given to nonprofits who have achieved a level of transparency through publicly disclosing their audited financial report.
